Masuda City Tourist Information Center

Hassaku Festival is a Japanese traditional festival held at Shinto shrines all over Japan. Kakinomoto Shrine in Masuda city will also hold the festival on September 1st.

Iwami Kagura sessions will be held on the stage in the precinct from morning to evening. Many stands will be in a row along the street in front of the shrine.

After a ritual ceremony held in the shrine, archers and horses will march to the Takatsu River bank next to the shrine around 16:30. The yabusame event will start when they are ready.
